Stopped for lunch at this pub with a fringe theatre at the rear. A beautiful old building, once a stock market, with a huge decorative bar in the middle. Service was warm and friendly, our waitress was very chatty. A good selection of pies, sandwiches and various main meals. Beers, spirits and wines available. We chose a mushroom & lentil pie and chicken, bacon & leek pie for lunch. The meals were served with fresh veg and a mini gravy boat of red wine gravy. The food was good. The pub was busy with city workers and tourists enjoying a drink and lunch. Worth a visit.

Absolutely wonderful place and very unique decor and surroundings. Our waitress, Pallvi, was so lovely and humorous. Made us feel very much at home. Great service. The food was tasty, with quite a few options, and was very nice for what we had. Will be definitely revisiting and doing a show in the near future. Amazing to think there is a 100 seat theatre at the back of the building. Thank you for hosting us. Ian & Claire. XxX

A pub converted from an old bank having very good atmosphere. The Home-made lager is good. Staff are friendly and nice. She gave us a tour to the secret theater upstairs which is fascinated. The another room with audiovisual equipment is very cosy and is nice for friend or family gathering.
