Queer Futures

Centrala opens Queer Futures, a group exhibition of film, photography, sculpture and print by seven LGBTQI+ artists from Central and Eastern Europe now living in the UK, curated by Polish artist and curator Zula Rabikowska. Works by Arti Siudem, Janina Sabaliauskaite, Siarhei Yazlavetski and Aleh Razhkou, Byuka Makodru, Yuri Dvizhon and Sebi Bruckner span Poland, Lithuania, Belarus, Romania, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Hungary, weaving migration, borders and escape together with love, celebration and fear. Opening night is Friday 2 October from 6pm at Centrala in Minerva Works, Digbeth. The exhibition then runs until 12 December, Tuesday to Saturday, 12pm to 6pm.
