IBIS BIRMINGHAM NEW STREET STATION HOTEL

Despite its misleading name, this Ibis is actually much more perfectly located for the Gay Village and Chinatown than it is for Birmingham New Street. It’s basic but also super affordable and exactly where you’ll want to be for Birmingham Pride or just a night out in the Village.

Radisson Blu

This iconic hotel on the Birmingham skyline is more affordable than you might think, it was £103 a night when we looked. Expect beautifully decorated rooms, great service, an onsite gym and a 2 minute walk from both New Street Station and the Gay Village. Ideal.

EasyHotel

For a budget option you can’t go wrong with EasyHotel. Yes the rooms are really small and basic, but it’s clean, cheap and on the incredible John Bright Street where some of the city’s best restaurants are (Check out Tokyo Izakaya or Bonehead). It’s a 2min walk from New Street Station and around 5min to the Gay Village.
